Iliza S. Bartels brings to her financial advisory practice over 20 years of experience in many aspects of finance. As a money market trader and a cash management specialist for a large regional bank, she worked with mid to large size businesses generating investment income and maximizing cash flow. She served in the financial division of a major national real estate company, managing their cash management systems and investment portfolio, as well as closing short and long term financing. Eager to put her skills to work in the non-profit sector, Iliza joined the South Street Seaport Museum and became Chief Financial Officer of its South Street Seaport Corporation, their non-profit real estate affiliate. Later she worked with the Children’s Aid Society as Financial Manager of the Rhinelander Children’s Center.
Iliza founded her own business as a financial advisor in 2002 to provide high quality, objective investment advice and to bring her years of diverse financial knowledge to the benefit of her clients. She takes pride in educating her clients and bringing to them a transparent, empowering investment process. Iliza’s focus is on asset allocation optimization, portfolio construction, and investment selection and monitoring. Her compensation is based on an asset management fee model or per hour advisory consultations.
Iliza holds a BA with honors from Bryn Mawr College and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Manhasset Community Fund.
